Dear Lord today is a day that I have made some mistakes. I ask Father for forgiveness, and guidance for tomorrow that I may walk in the path you have chosen. Lord I pray for all the children that they may grow and be strong and walk in your light. I pray for our nation that a protection be put around us. I also pray for the people around me and my family. Bless your people and guide them. I have been feeling a little on the helpless side I give my burdens to you help me to carry on and to trust you. I want to lean on your strength. God you above all are worthy Thank you In your name Amen .        

And He said to me "my grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness" 

2 Corinthians 12:9

Hello God it is me again. I have had an interesting day. I looked at a beautiful home and the kids liked it. My family went to The Dalles to visit. I stayed home to pack and clean and get ready to move. Well Lord I want to ask that you protect our children and keep them safe. Hold our nation in your hand and surround your people with your love, kindness and strength. look into our hearts and help us to be faithful servants. In your name Amen

Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. Thus I will Bless you while I live I will lift up my hands in your name.

Psalm 63:3-4

Hello God it is me again. Today I was reminded that your strength is perfect and you are always on time. I have had a chorus running through my mind and it goes like this. God will make a way when there seems to be no way He works in ways we can not see He will make away for me. He will be my guide and hold me closely to his side with love and strength for each new day He will make a way. I am sorry for doubting. Help me to keep the faith I admit I am struggling. Help our nation and bless our children and help my neighbors and bless them. keep my family safe bless tomorrow in Jesus name amen P S Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Psalm 73:26

Lord give us wings to fly over mountains and through the valleys across the oceans and straight up to you. Help us to overcome and be strong, show us the right way to seek you. Lead us to your throne so that we may bow down and worship you. where ever we go may you be our guide and always stay at our side. Lord show the world around us your light through our eyes and help us be an example of your love. Grant peace and strength to those who need it. Protect the little children and draw them to you. Surround our nation with the mighty warriors that will protect us. All of these things I humbly ask in your name Amen.

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Give me a heart of worship Lord. I am yearning to be in your presence. Walk with me, talk to me, and hold my hand through the hard times. Grant us wisdom and understanding, favor us with mercy and grace and Lord above all help us to wait for you. Bless your children, The men and women over seas keep them close and protect them. help our leaders to make the right decisions. and keep families together in hard times. In Your Name Amen

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Proverbs 3: 5-6.

Patience is a virtue. That is one virtue I do not want to ask for but, it is a virtue that I need. Lord every time I ask for patience you make sure I earn it. I know that well earned patience is more appreciated and I know that it is tested when It is asked for. So here I go. Lord grant me the patience I need to continue with the issues that tend to pop up in my life, help me to be patient with my two "charming" children. Finally give me patience to handle the tests I am sure you will bring. Bless our nation and our deployed help our leaders to be on track and make the right decisions. help our children to be wise and keep them safe. Bless my friends and family help my enemies to find you and help me to ask what would you do. In your name I pray Amen.

Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 15:5-6

Lord thank you for testing me. I know I failed but thank you any way. I am sorry for the path I took forgive me. Help me to take the tests head on tomorrow and help me to have strength. I am grateful for the challenges even though they can be frustrating and I am thankful for the grace and mercy you have shown to me. I give myself, my family, my children, my friends, my nation to you show us the path in which we are to follow and help us all to follow you. I am your humble servant In your name amen.

but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen

2 Peter 3:18

Lord how do we love our neighbors when the neighbors I don't want to love are druggies and child molesters? not all of my neighbors are like that but some of them are. I know we need to preach the gospel to the unsaved and I know the call to go out in to all the world is real. The call in our own hometown is the strongest one, and I admit that it is a little uncomfortable. I also know I may regret asking this but, help me to get out of my comfort zone. Give me wisdom and strength to face the challenges that will come. Help me to follow your lead and give me the courage to try. Protect our children from those who want to harm them, bless my friends and family help our nation to overcome and follow you. In your name I pray amen.

"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

Matthew 5:16

I did something good today. I felt so good for it. The owner of my home came and started to work on part of the house. I offered him dinner and he accepted it. He said home cooked meals are a treat for him. Lord thank you for the chance to give to someone and to see them be happy for the simple gesture of offering a meal. Helping is a feel good thing. I ask Lord to keep a giving spirit and to have a generous heart so I can give and show your love to others. Bless all of those that are in need and help us all to give with a cheerful heart. Keep our children safe and as school starts help us to guide them into good choices. Bless our nation and our leaders. I ask all of this In the name of Jesus amen

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.

2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Lord I long for the day when the news has something good to say. I would like to see some understanding and hear about the good things in life, instead of all of the bad. The fires or murder trials or destruction of property all of it is so hard to hear about. What is our world coming to? Help me to discover your will for me for my family. I see people hurting and so much anger but not so much love. God I think we forgot how to love. Show us how to love the way you love. help us to set an example for our children, our neighbors and family. set the Spirit free on our nation and help us to fill our lives. I give you my life I lay it all down. Here is my cup fill it up. I humbly ask all this in your name Amen

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Romans 12:2

Lord you are amazing. I desire to know you more and hear your voice. I am finding that the more I seek you the better things seem to be. Through all the trials and tribulations You alone are the strength of my life. I am reminded that as we grow we get tested and in order to withstand the tests I need to lean on you. Help me to fully understand and accept the challenges that lay ahead give me the strength and wisdom to face the challenges and show me the right path to take. As our children grow show them your light, spread your peace over our nation and guide our leaders in everything they do. Help me overcome the feelings of dislike for my enemies and show me how to love them. I ask in your name amen.

Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding;

Proverbs 3:13

Thank you for today. Lord it was a very good day I'm a little tired but over all this has been a blessed day. today is a day to rejoice and be happy and thankful. You are wonderful and I love you. Bless all the children, help my enemies to see you, protect our service men and women and help our leaders to choose your way. Help others to have a truly joyful day and set our hearts on fire. Establish in our spirits the comfort of your presence. All of these things I ask in your name amen.

Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Philippians 4:4-5

Disappointment comes in many shapes and sizes. I have had a few times in my life where I have been really disappointed. I get discouraged easily sometimes especially if I am hoping to get a response back about something. I know I can not depend on people to come through. The one thing I have learned the last two weeks is this. God will never fail, never let me down and He will always come through for me no matter what. So I have decided that disappointment happens and there is not much I can do and if I get angry it will only hurt me in the end, so forgiveness is on the horizon and surprise and  fulfilment is within reach. Teach me Lord help me to grasp the reality of you and heal my disappointed heart fill my life full of your love and help me to help others to do the same. Show me how to show my children, help me to help others and give me grace along the way. Bless our nation and help our leaders. I humbly ask in your name amen.

Teach me your way, O Lord and lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies. Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, and such as breath out violence. I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living

Psalms 37:11-13

Lord it is hard to be positive in negative surroundings. I try to always have a smile on and I try to see the good things in life. When there is a factor in life that tends to always be on the down side it gets a little rough to be happy. Help me to have a peace and to acknowledge the fact that God is in control and I can do all things with God. Help me to keep my focus on you and to guide my children, bless my family and friends and cover our nation. All these things I ask amen.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Philippians 4:13

Lord I have to say that you have been coming through for me and I thank you. over these past few weeks my faith has been tested,  my patience tested and boy were they tested. I have not been perfect, My ultimate goal was to please you and to have faith that you were in control. I think I may not have been to successful at pleasing you but I learned to trust you. Again here is my life I lay it down before you I lift my family to you help them to see you. I give my friends and family to you. Bless the owner of this house and let him see you too. Bless our nation and leaders, guide our service to protection and help the people that wants to hurt others to find you. You are AWSOME and again I thank you. In YOUR NAME I pray amen.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11:6

There are many times I find myself and I am sure others do as well asking the famous question why? I find that when I ask why God, that you tend to answer in an unexpected way. Again I ask why? In most cases straight answers seem the best way to solve the question. I know this may seen unimportant but when a little kid asks why we are not always able to answer them. You are never late your time is always on time so faith is the key answer to the famous question why. My son will be in a regular classroom Lord help him to succeed I know he can do it help him to understand the tasks, and give him confidence to make it and show him you are there beside him. Bless our nation and leaders and the children. I pray a special blessing for the Portland Rescue Mission show them the way to help those that come to them guide them and grant the people that go there peace. In your name amen

Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

1 John 5:14-15

The number 3 seems to be a popular number. People say that bad things happen in 3's but what about good things? well I think good things happen in 3's 4's 5's or what ever number you see fit to use. 3 also connects the Trinity Father, Son and Holy Spirit. 3 is a good number I like it. I have had some good things the last couple of weeks that only You could have done. Thank You for everything. I am thankful for everything you do for me. Thank you for showing mercy when I mess up. Bless all of your people help them to thank you. Bless our children and help them grow. Bless our nation and the ones that fight for it. Help our leaders to follow your will and not theirs. Surround us with your Spirit and Love. In Your name amen.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

Psalm 100:4-5

School starts tomorrow Lord and I am a little nervous. Help us all to succeed in the new things that come our way. My son starts in a new class that is different from what he is used to. Help him to focus and learn. Help me to remain in control of the bus and help the teachers to adjust to the changes that are sure to come. Stress and frustration are a thing that may cause some problems I give those to you now. Help my family to support each other and be helpful. Bless our nation as we all start a new journey and help our leaders as an election comes near settle your Spirit on us in your name amen

Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?

Psalm 56:3-4

On Monday a wonderful person and entertainer of children died. It was all over the news. Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter died. His wife is from Oregon he had 2 kids. Lord help them to get through this time. I know He was famous but come on do people really have to harass a family when they just lost someone they loved? Be with the kids as they go through the difficult process of living with out their father. Help his wife to be at peace and find comfort. I wanted to cry when I heard the news I cant begin to imagine how that family must feel. Lord give them strength to carry on. If I could offer support I would the only thing I can do is pray for them. Father Love them hold them and be their strength. I often wonder why things happen. I know you are in control and when its their time its their time. As painful as this is, looking to you is the only way to find true peace. I do not know how they believe but help them to look to you now. In your name amen

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

2 Corinthians 1:3-4

Lord I have to say I failed. I am sorry. I failed my daughter I got really upset with her and we both went to bed mad. I know that we should never go to bed angry. I found that she bounced back well but I as her parent am responsible for raising her and that is not what I want her to learn. Lord help me. She is very strong willed and I am not sure what to do with her. Help me to help her. I do not want to fail her as a parent. I know you are in control in everything I do I lay this on the alter. Bless my family and friends help the leaders to lead the way you want them to and, bless all the children in the world. Bless the Irwin's as they continue to adjust with out their father and husband. In your name amen.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

Lord it has been a while since I have had a chance to really sit down and pray. I don't feel as satisfied with a little one like I do when I really talk to you. Today was the memorial for Steve Irwin and I have never cried over a death of a famous person as I did for him. I am not sure it was really for him or his family. I do not know how they feel but my heart really hurt as I watched the service and I am not sure why. He was to young. Help his family to heal Lord help Terri to find peace she looked like she wanted to break down. Bindi she will remember him but help her too. Little Bob is so young he may not understand so help the rest to keep Steve's memory alive so he can know what his dad was like. My heart hurts for them and I wish I could help I just don't know how. Comfort them and hold them and be their peace. In your name amen.

Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love. if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

Philippians 2:1-2

Lord I come to you today for the simple purpose of asking you to be with the families of the three hikers. one was found surround the family with your love and strength and help them through the grieving. hold the other two families in your care as they continue to hope and grant them comfort too. For Carrie help her and give her peace and strength to come through. surround her with the comfort and joy of your love and carry her through the time of depression. hold everyone up with your love and show them your peace. In your name I pray Amen.

For the Lord will comfort Zion, He will comfort all her waste places; He will make her wilderness like Eden, And her desert like the garden of the Lord; Joy and gladness will be found in it, Thanksgiving and the voice of melody.

Isaiah 51:3

 Home is where the heart is. this will be a place for stories and inspiring words from those who visit our home.

The overwhelming feelings that come and go tend to make me very tired. This whole issue of my home and feeling like I let my kids down has been an experience that I know in the end will make me stronger. When life throws a curve ball it makes our plans mess up and that's when we really need to stop and say to ourselves that our plans may not be Gods. I know I take things in to my own hands and fail at miserably. When we totally trust God to lead us where he wants us to go life seems a little smoother. Close your eyes take a deep breath and say Lord take it. This is a test for me a test of my faith and I am really trying to leave it in Gods hands and find peace.

The rain came today it has been a while. God promises us a new day after the rain. I am grateful for the rain because it brings a fresh new look to the world around me. as the days go by and we see the seasons change I will try to bring a new and promising insight to life and hope it will also bring courage and peace to those who need it most.

I see life  kind of like  a rose. The color, the scent, the beauty, and the thorns. We live from day to day expecting things to be like a bed of roses but then a thorn gets in the way and causes some pain. For a while all we see is the pain but, with a simple prayer God help me to over come and see the beauty once again, the pain goes away. the thorn may still be there as a reminder but the beauty of our lives will over ride it and we can once again walk through our garden and find peace. My life is far from perfect and I am learning everyday that trusting in God is the only way. 

Lord thank you for the sunshine after the rain. A beautiful ray of light in our world. Sorry for falling short help me to stay on track. I am laying all at your feet. Help our kids to grow up and be Godly men and women. Help our leaders to choose your way and bless my family. Help those that lost loved ones. Be their rainbow when things seem dark in your name amen.

"The rainbow shall be in the cloud, and I will look on it to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on this earth."

Genesis 9:16

Lord I have not been here as much as I should. I know I am supposed to be diligent. I need your guidance and support. I am afraid you know why help me to get through this. You are my strength and courage. It makes me think that this time on earth is limited and we need to make the most of it. spend more time with family. MRI's are scary especially when it comes to the brain. Help me. In your name amen.

"Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the one who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you."

Deuteronomy 31:6

Hey Lord I know I have not written for a while but I talk to you everyday It has not been easy I have been frustrated and confused but today I read an email from someone that seems more frustrated than I do. she is struggling with her faith help her to hold on to you and with the things she has done bless her a 100 fold, surround her with love and peace and strength. If we ask we shall receive so we are asking. Help Shea with the business and help it to prosper. Help Marion to find work Help Billy to find you. Thank you for Blessing Gary and helping him through. You are our provider help my family to find just the right home in your name I pray Amen.

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches and glory by Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19

Lord I am sorry. I have not been as diligent as I should have. I find myself being rather busy and looking for other things to do. I have to admit I have not been talking to you as much as I should. As you well know my life has been upside down lately and I feel I am missing out on something and , I decided that something is you. I need more time with you, to talk to sing to listen. I have been banging on doors only to have them stay locked. I don't know where I am going and I am afraid I keep wondering if I am being heard or if I am just not listening. Help me to hand it all over to you, I can not do this on my own, I am discouraged. show me the way you want me to go. I have things I want but only if you want them for me. guide me in the path you have planned for me walk beside me and be my light because right now I feel like I am stumbling in the dark and I feel hopelessly lost. here I am shape me mold me lead me because you are the only way I can make it through. My family is counting on me and I M COUNTING ON YOU. Help us find a home. help us get licensed to do foster care if that is what you want. open the doors down the path that will lead us to where you want us. have mercy on me and show me grace  help me to be humble and meek. Forgive me Lord and help me to seek you. Amen
